page created June 2011 - A selection of illustrations created within the last month for my blog. I post to my blog each and everyday, unless travel prevents me, but usually its everyday. My working method is: 1. clear my mind. 2. select an A4 sheet of layout paper. 3. grab a pencil and sketch what every comes to mind and hand. This usually takes about 10 minutes. 4. Scan the pencil sketch (with a deliberately dirty scanner) 5. In photoshop I adjust the levels way over to the dark side... 6. Then I work in layers selecting and colouring. This takes about another 20 minutes. 7. I flatten the artwork, save for the web give it a title et voila, it's up on the blog. www.markharfield.posterous.com
